The BBC Three series Paranormal is among the titles on Warner Bros International Television’s list of factual entertainment, reality, documentary and scripted programs for Mipcom.
From UK prodco Twenty Twenty, owned by Warner Bros, Paranormal (working title) investigates disturbing events on a Welsh farmhouse in the 1990s.
Also on the program is Channel 5’s Colin & Justin’s Hotel Hell. Produced by Ricochet, it follows two Scottish interior designers who take on the challenge of renovating a dilapidated hotel in remote Nova Scotia, Canada.
Meanwhile, billed as an all-ages bromance, 101 Places to Party Before You Die follows two friends and “accidental travel hosts” on a three-day jaunt across the United States, while Rich & Shameless unpacks the true cost of great wealth and privilege.
Hollands Licht’s scripted drama The Year of Fortuyn, produced for AvroTros/NPO1, explores the rise of populism through the story of flamboyant Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, who was assassinated in 2002.
Other highlights include Nadiya’s Everyday Baking (Wall to Wall for BBC Two); Stupid Pet Tricks (The Jay & Tony Show and Worldwide Pants for TBS); Amazing Cleans (Ricochet for 5Star UK); and Sell in the City (WBITVP Australia for Binge/Foxtel).
