Tubi dives headfirst into the spooky Halloween season.
On October 15, the free streaming service will present âFamously Haunted: Amityville,â a new documentary that will take a close look at the famous Amityville home in Long Island, New York.
Fans of history or real crime may remember the house as the site where Ronald DeFeo Jr. shot and killed six of his family. In the years following the 1974 murders, paranormal events were reported at the house.
The two-hour documentary will, among other things, take a closer look at the crime itself.

After the incident, the Lutz family moved into the house but left after just 28 days.
âThe Lutz went up to them and said, ‘Look, we left terrified,’â Didio explained. “‘Things were happening to us in the house that we couldn’t explain. We had personality changes. We saw things, we heard things.'”
The reporter also recruited paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to help him conduct a session at the site.
âLorraine Warren basically said she felt it was a demonic presence, something evil,â she said.
