Now, we’re extremely happy to announce that she’s joining us as a pop music critic with a special role: she’ll be writing a brand new newsletter that will recommend new songs (and old ones too), that will make her debut soon.
Previously, Lindsay was an editor at The ring and the pop music critic at New York magazine, where his work earned him the American Society of Magazine Editors’ ASME Next award for journalists under 30. His culture writing has also appeared in NPR, Pitchfork, Bookforum, The Believer, Film Comment, Slate, and Bitch.
She is currently working on her first book, “Fear of a Female Genius”, which will interrogate the history of artistic genius through a feminist lens. Somehow, she also finds time to volunteer with the nonprofit mentoring organization Girls Write Now and teach journalism classes at Columbia, NYU and her alma mater, American. University.
