Final State Capture Report Volumes Submitted Electronically Tonight

In a statement released by the commission’s secretary, Itumeleng Mosala, he said that due to some challenges he was unable to submit the final part of the report to President Cyril Ramaphosa until June 15.

The final volumes of the State Capture Report will be submitted to President Cyril Ramaphosa electronically on Saturday evening.

In a statement released by the commission’s secretary, Itumeleng Mosala, he said that due to some challenges he was unable to submit the final part of the report to the president until Wednesday, June 15.

Mosala added that the president will receive an electronic version tonight and that a formal handover ceremony will take place at the Union Buildings tomorrow evening at 6 p.m.

This is the fifth and final installment of state capture reports.

The much-awaited report is expected to address outstanding issues, including issues regarding the SABC and state security. It is also expected to make general recommendations.
