  • The Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM) and the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) have published a joint position paper calling for the strengthening of the role of national competent authorities in the supervision of cross-border financial services within the EU .
  • The Spanish Congress of Deputies has validated a royal omnibus decree-law, which mainly transposes into Spanish law the directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the issue and public supervision of covered bonds, creating a single market for them.
