Allegations of flying cars by 2030 featured in Dezeen Weekly newsletter


The latest edition of our Dezeen Weekly newsletter features Hyundai Chief Operating Officer Michael Cole who says flying cars will be in our cities “by the end of this decade.”

South Korean automaker Hyundai, which is developing a flying taxi with Uber, expects electric flying cars to be seen in cities before the end of the decade.

Cole told the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders conference that “Urban air mobility will provide a great opportunity to unclog cities, reduce emissions, whether it’s intra-urban mobility in the air or even between cities ”.

Readers are not convinced. One of them asked, “What could go wrong?
